Inspired Spring Cloche

*Refresh* Renew* Revive*
Inspired by Spring

Spring has been slowly creeping out all around the house, I'm ready, I know you are too. I spotted some green heads peeking out of the soil in our flower beds already, I know it's only a matter of time...

I've been playing...

I gave my hutch a mini makeover for spring and incorporated some blue with my normal green and white, it's been a really soothing pallet to me. I actually found these little blue mercury glass votives several years ago after Christmas, they don't look very Christmasy to me however...

I love using green apples, they look so fresh
{even though they're not!}

I spring-a-fied my cloche just today, A little blue bird, nest, moss, greenery and a frame...all sitting atop the cloche plate I made last summer

Yes, you can put ANYTHING under a cloche!

Have you been seeing lattice pattern popping up everywhere? I'm drawn to it too and I found these napkins with a big bold graphic pattern on one side and lattice on the other, I think it looks wonderful with my plaid burlap ribbon
{if you can notice it in the background, there's a better picture down the way...}

My wire cloche looks handsome with all his apples! This one is small enough to fit inside my hutch

My hutch consists of mostly thrift store finds, odd pieces, milk glass and my Claremont dishes, I'm not sure if you've seen those white dishes before or not...they might look vaguely familiar

Mr. Bluebird on my shoulder, I mean under my cloche....

My little ball finial, and his big brother...yes, I did two sizes, but I like the little one the best. He looks just right under glass

I put together a hydrangea basket to sit on top of the hutch and just tied some of the plaid burlap around the basket. I plan on using this ribbon on my front door wreath when it does get a little closer to spring

Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you're inspired!

  18. Very charming! You are so right that "anything" can be assembled under a cloche. It does take an eye to create symmetry. You accomplished this nicely!

  26. your cloches are just stinkin' beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    just got my first cloche and needed ideas. forgive my ignorance, but i'm guessing with that FAB wire cloche, you put the apples in while the cloche is upside down; put the bottom on and turned it right-side up?
