With Easter on the brain , I stumbled across this cute idea at Martha Stewart.com and thought I would give it a try.
Martha and her guest Laurie Davis made it look pretty simple....A paper mache box...nothing to it!
Paint a green color....piece of cake!
Disassemble a silk cabbage from Michael's....no sweat!
Start gluing leaves on the bottom of the box, starting with the smallest leaf...umm..ok....I fumbled around with this step quite a bit...I finally got it going...it's a good thing I wasn't on t.v.!
I continued gluing on the leaves and and it went pretty smoothly from here on out...

Think of all the possibilities...centerpieces with other large petal flowers.
ReplyDeleteMichael's will be a stop for me this week.
Thanks,

Love this, Michelle! Seems easy enough for me to handle, too! I can just see these as part of a tablescape.
ReplyDeleteLove it. I think even I could pull that one off!

ReplyDeleteSuper cute!!
ReplyDeleteIt did turn out cute. I had to look twice at that glue the leaves on step. No if I only had a silk cabbage around here...I could try it!
