Updating Baskets

I've always liked using baskets in my decor. From corralling clutter to organizing crafty things, not to mention the great texture that they provide. Usually I find great baskets anywhere from Hobby Lobby to Pier 1, and even at Wal-mart. Of course while thrifting, I take a look too. I found a couple on a recent trip and decided to.......wait for it, spray paint them. I know shocker right?

Both of them were in great shape, and didn't remind me of a basket from the local florist, which most of the second hand baskets do. I loved the open weave of this oval one and decided to paint this one Ivy Leaf (Krylon)

and this nice sized round one in a glossy white.

Did you notice the fantastic vintage napkin I also scored! Love it! Very vintage! Only one but that's OK....

I did prime these and did two coats of glossy spray paint (Ivy Leaf & White), so easy!

I really love how they turned out!

Do you have any baskets to give a coat of spray paint to?

Thanks for stopping by!
