Hi Bloggers and welcome to another wonderful Tablescape Thursday! Be sure to visit all the participants and our wonderful hostess Susan at Between Naps on the Porch!
I am slowly recovering from a cold, and I am burning the midnight oil getting ready for TT! I decided to pour a cup of coffee and snack on some cherry pie, courtesy of Cutie Pies :)

While I'm snacking, you can take a look at what I have put together. If you are a regular reader, then you know I have an obsession with green (among other things)...it's simple and natural and easy to work with, green is my friend :)
I picked these mugs up quite some time ago at the GW and on a totally different trip, found these little appetizer plates...I think they work great together: cup of Joe and snacks...good deal!
I also thought they looked great with a condiment cup that I've had for a while too, picked up from Pier 1
This tablescape actually started pretty slowly, I don't know if it's because I've been sick or because it's kind of in the transitional season time: end of summer, hello fall...but I had a rough start...but by the time I got done, I liked how it turned out. Do you guys ever feel like that?
This centerpiece wire bowl with the candle holders built right in is a great piece that I change the content of seasonally or whenever, today I put pine cones in...but I've had seashells, gourds, ornaments, etc....A Target find.
(Can you see my helper in the background? :)
I used two runners, running horizontally across the table, and some white napkins for linens
I used inexpensive vases, put small grapevine wreaths around, put them on a plate (you'll see in a minute), wind some artificial blossoms around and create yourself a wonderful hurricane effect...can you imagine something like this with maple leaves or evergreens?
I'm using the glassware that I bought at Mary Carol's store in Kansas City
Did I mention I love this centerpiece bowl? :)
I bought these crackled pine cones at Hobby Lobby several years ago, I keep them out because of their natural quality
The napkin rings are new that I bought while on vacation, they are glass, and green...hee hee :)
Here is a close up of the runner

Ohhhhhh, I LOVE this! Right away, I wondered how you could get candleholders to fit so nicely in that basket....and then you say, they are attached - that is terrific! I can imagine how versatile that item is and I love how you have put the white pillars with pine cones in it for this 'scape. The two runners going across the table is something I always want to try but don't think of, love the colour and pattern of yours. A truly wonderful tablescape! Great pics too!

Lo and behold, I seen what you did with yours and I just love that idea! Now I'm on a mission...to make one of those pretty wreaths!!! Also really enjoyed you "Back To School" tablescape...it was absolutely beautiful!!!
Oooooh...I'm so glad that I found your blog!!!
Warmest wishes,

I hope you are feeling better soon. You did a great job of transitioning from summer to fall without overbearingly orange and bronze. I too love the green and find it very versatile. I like the white with it and am definitely jealous of the centerpiece bowl. Very nice table. Have a great weekend and take your vitamin C!
ReplyDeleteThis is all so pretty! I love the texture in your plates. And your theme. I live in the Piny Woods of Texas, so we have lots of pinecones. Now I know what to do with some of them! I love the pretty white candles. And those glass green napkin rings! Very pretty all together! Get well!

Oh what a lovely introduction to fall! I love green too. Everything looks delightful on your table -- I love it all!
ReplyDeleteGreat job! I enjoyed seeing all the details! My daughter is wild about greens too! She had a green wedding, etc., etc.....

I love this tablescape. And I want those plates from Dollar Tree to go with my Claremont plates. Your crackled pine cones are fabulous.
ReplyDeleteArtfully combined table setting, love all those earthy touches you have included to celebrate the changing seasons.
ReplyDeleteWhat glorious shades of green! I adore your crackled pinecones.
ReplyDeleteI am 'green' with envy. Your plates and bowls look like Majolika. Love the simplicity, elegance, and textures.
ReplyDeleteHi Michelle,
ReplyDeleteNice to meet ya! Lovely blog....LOVE your majolica ware....I collect the bordallo pinheiro bunnies and the lettuce motif. I am gonna add you to my list....you got great tastes...and love bargains like myself! cherry
I really like how natural the center area looks will all the pinecones and candles and twig wraps. I love pinecones in general for decor--especially the scented ones!
