Welcome to another wonderful Tablescape Thursday!
This party is hosted by Susan at Between Naps on the Porch be sure to visit all of the skilled scapers at the porch!
I have a couple of introductions, found while vacationing last week and some thrifty love too!
This pulchritudinous green stoneware pitcher I found at the GW for $6.98. I know! Right! What a splurge...it's over my $5.00 limit, but this thing is substantial and flawless!
Next, I'd like to introduce you to my new owl juicer! I have never purchased anything from Anthropologie, but this was so unique, and my sister was sweet enough to buy it for me! Isn't he adorable?
Take a look at my linens, I know these colors are familiar...I use them a lot! Add a sunflower in there and I lurve it! It's my nod to the end of summer and welcoming the up and coming harvest season ( My favorite time of year!)
You've seen my swirly yellow plates before, but please notice the green plates in the most scrumptious shade of green, that just so happens to coordinate wonderfully with the green in the linens! (Big cheesy grin)
Now I don't know about you, but I'm a dipper. Any kind of condiment or sauce has to be contained in the condiment cup...I don't like my ketchup running around the plate when I'm trying to dip my fries!! :)
I bought a couple of different sizes at the place I use to work in NC...just had to visit my old bosses...I still miss them and it's been 5 years!
I put some sunflowers in the pitcher for a centerpiece and tied a little ribbon around the neck.
I've never introduced you to my flatware before...they were a present from my dear MIL...she knows me so well!
Placemat, dirt cheap, $1.88 each (no, I'm not pulling your leg!)
Used my sea grass chargers too...again.
I do have a weakness for glassware...

ReplyDeleteMichelle you are a girl after my own heart. One who has to put limits on her Goodwill searches and who breaks those limits on occasion when a pretty pitcher like that one pops out at you.
