Everyday I am feeling better, recovering from my last chemo treatment. I wanted to get these pictures up sooner, but just wasn't feeling well enough. These are some random beach pictures I wanted to share....me relaxing on the beach and the kids playing in the ocean. I am still working on my surprise birthday party pictures, so be looking for those soon.
Emerald Isle, North Carolina
I think with all kids, the sand provides hours of play, and Logan is no exception.
My boys, a fine example of monkey see, mokey do. :)
Logan being buried
Playing in the surf. Logan looks so happy.
Very intense look on Keegan's face riding a wave in
Fun pictures!
I love this shot.
I am so happy that I was able to go home. The shore is my very favorite place to be and really offered some healing for me midway through my chemo....that and family and friends really was wonderful. I was talking to my sister last night and it seems like the trip was forever ago already.....
In case you are wondering, I did get into the ocean. Before I got sick, it wasn't a big deal, but I actually felt scared about going in...whether I would be too weak to withstand the waves....but I did it, I didn't stay in very long, but I went in bald head and all! :)
I will talk to you all soon!
Michelle
I love photos of kids on the beach! I'm very glad to hear you got to go to your "safe place" to be restored a bit. I would think that while bald isn't all that fun...for swimming it might just have its advantages. So happy you got your feet wet! Keeping you in my prayers as you continue your journey. The boys are darling!
ReplyDeleteHi Michelle: I'm so glad you got to the ocean. I'm from ocean country too and it's so nice to go back once in awhile. The boys look like they are having so much fun and they are so handsome. It's good to hear that you are feeling better and at least you can't complain about having a bad hair day after spending time in the water. I am always thinking of you and wishing you all the best..Happy Tuesday..Judy
ReplyDeleteI don't know you personally yet I feel I do through your ability to share your journey through chemo with us. I love the picture of Keegan and Logan in the water. Big brother safely keeping little brother firmly in his arms. It shows a lot of love.
ReplyDeleteLovely Pictures of the Beach and your boys,
ReplyDeleteIm so glad you felt good enough to enjoy both.
Thinking and praying for you always.
Going to the beach has to be good for you! Loved the photos of the boys enjoying the day.

Great shots of what had to be a great day. Your oldest is turning into such a handsome young man and your youngest is a doll!! Love seeing them play together. Wishing you only good things.
ReplyDeleteYou have beautiful children Michelle! How wonderful to get a trip home when you need it the most. I am continuing to pray for your healing and recovery on a daily basis -- I hope you can take comfort in knowing that our Lord is the great physician.

Good for you Michele, and good looking boys.
ReplyDeleteBeach shots are always so fun!
ReplyDeleteI found you through Pinterest on a flag pallet project that was featured on another blog. But the link is no longer working. Can you send me the link? I'd love to see the tutorial. Thanks.
You have a beautiful family; the little one must adore his big brother.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had some wonderful family time at the beach. Was thinking about you the other day, hoping everything was going well. =O)
ReplyDeleteMichelle, I know you must be having a difficult time with chemo right now as you haven't posted. I'm praying for you and can't wait for you to be back! "For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord...."
