Welcome to another wonderful Tablescape Thursday @ BNOTP and Holiday Linky Party @ The Inspired Room
*Christmas Edition*
Susan and Melissa are our wonderful hostesses, be sure to visit all of the participants.
I've got quite the mixture this week, a little candy and a little retro, which is ok by me...I collect both of those looks
The Gibson dishes haven't been seen for a while, but they make a fine appearance on today's table, because white goes with everything
My tablecloth today is very special to me, this was my mother's tablecloth and I really love it...
Is it stained? Yes.
Is it dingy? Yes.
Do I care? No
It is a little small for my table...and I have a really small table. I think it hangs maybe an inch off...I think things were just small back in the day
With such a busy cloth, the Gibson dishes are really nice
The napkins are some that I found at Tuesday Morning, this Summer
Flatware, with a retro vibe, Target, I think they carry them all the time.
Milk glass, ever present around the house, holds cute little glass candy ornaments
Loverly twisty tapers in red....
If you would like to see how to make your very own chocolate candy ornament, click here. It's super simple, and fun to do!
I added some candy canes and twisty sticks to my centerpiece, removable of course, just for fun
The snowflake drinking glasses came from the dollar store this year, they are perfect for a glass of egg nog!
Thanks for stopping by, I know this is such a busy time of year!
I hope you're inspired!
Thank you for hosting Susan and Melissa!
