I haven't participated in Tablescape Thursday for a while and I'm happy to jump back in with my first Holiday Tablescape (at home)! First of all, I have the greatest MIL in the world....what does that have to do with TT? Well, because she has been giving me my Christmas presents early and you'll see some of the wonderful presents in this Tablescape and many more! ! Thanks to a wonderful table runner she gave me, it inspired: A Hounds Tooth Holiday.....I don't know why I have to name everything, my trees are named too.....I know weird.
Let me show you the place setting:
Wicker Chargers, Mary Carol Home Collection
Red Holly Plates, local thrift store {heart these!}
Glass Salad Plate with Silver Rim, Target (Thanks Elaine!)
Oval Snack Tray with Red Cup (Thanks Teresa!)
Everyday Flatware (Hounds Tooth Ribbon)
Silver rimmed goblet, matches the salad plate
I started off with a red and black blanket that I had in the closet and my new tablerunner with creamy snowflakes for the linens, no napkins, you'll have to use your sleeve. :)

I found these little tree s&p shakers at Family dollar
The red mercury glass votives, really sparkle, love these!
Do you remember me using the sewing machine drawers as candle holders for the fall? I used them again but added pine and white candles this time, I still love the look, graphic yet, old fashion at the same time {heart}
I used the same vase and twigs that you might have seen for my modern Thanksgiving table centerpiece, but I added pine, pinecones and berries for Christmas, I do love a good twig...

Wow, Michelle, the touch of houndstooth is so unexpected, it's wonderful. Superb tablescape!
ReplyDeleteBeing from Alabama I might have to steal your idea of houndstooth and do an Alabama table next year for our women's banquet. I just might have to collect garage sale football items to do it. See what an inspiration you are!
