Hello and Welcome to The Holiday Tour 2009! Thanks for stopping by!
This is my first virtual home tour for Christmas and I don't know what to expect {or what you expect} but...I am all decorated and I basically started taking pictures and creating mosaics {or this would be REALLY long} and I'm going for it! Welcome and I hope you stay a while!
First of all, the kitchen:
First of all, the kitchen:
I like it Vintage...
I like it Retro...
...a little whimsy....and a whole lotta CANDY!
This is the really festive part of the house, full of fanciful color and cheerful merriment, candy canes and gumdrops, and you can't forget the ginger bread man!
BUT WAIT! I also like this look....still vintage in flavor, yet with a bit o' chalet thrown in the mix....and who doesn't like hounds tooth? I mean really...
If you would like to view this entire tablescape, click on "Hounds Tooth Holiday" on my sidebar or click here.
Now let's go into the living room, it's a little more muted in there....
Cool silver of mercury glass...
Soothing textures of burlap
Elements of nature....
Add in some touches of crisp white and bold black...
Soft brown...
...Amber and gold...
Warm candleglow...
Thank you for joining me for my Holiday tour... I'll be editing this post to add more so stay tuned! Linking to the following gracious hostesses:

Michelle, words are not enough to tell you how beautiful your home is! I would love to be there in person and enjoy all of its splendor!
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie and Merry Christmas,
Shelia ;)
So gorgeous...of course I'm not surprised! I love eveything I saw on my visit. i wouldn't have though of the houndstooth ribbon, yet it works so well. Love the living room...really this is perfection. It makes me not like my open floorplan. I want rooms back, so I can change themes. Mine is all open, so I have to make things blend well.
