Easter Day 2010

It was such a beautiful Resurrection Day! Along with spending some good quality time behind the camera, I spent some good time with family! My boys are growing up so fast!! Which can only mean that my perpetual age of 29 might be weakening! Yikes!
I caught some amazing photos of Spring flowers, as well as my boys. I am really in love with my new lens!!

Logan peeking through the tree...

Snowball trees

Red bud trees are in full swing too

This is one of my favorites of Keegan. All the color looks fantastic around him!

Logan is not quite as photogenic as Keegan, but not many 4 year olds are. Most shots of Logan are candid, such as this one, with he tongue stuck out!

The tulip trees are in full bloom! I love the color, really one of my favorite trees and smells wonderful!

This is my favorite of the day!

I'm not even sure what type of flowering tree this is, but it is so beautiful!

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you had a wonderful Easter Day!

Be sure to stop and see Mary at the Little Red House for Mosaic Monday!

Christmas Village

I don't know why, but I love putting out my Christmas village! Maybe it's the nostalgia, maybe the connection to each building I feel. Each piece represents something in our life...the coffee shop for me, the gas station for Justin....Perhaps it's my inner child, playing with houses...what ever it is, I love looking at each and every one of them and I hope you do too!

This is not an expensive line, not Dept. 56, not even Lefton, I have collected it for about 10 years now from good ole' Walmart. I know right? Sadly, my collection has ended with 12 houses because the quality is just not there anymore. However, I will cherish this collection and hopefully it will survive for my children's children!

Merry Christmas everyone! Thanks for stopping by!

Mosaic Monday: Nature in Winter

As much as I love spring and fall seasons, I can't help but look around and see God's beauty even in the approaching winter season. God is amazing! Look at His handiwork! All photos taken around the great state of Missouri.

Thank you for visting me for Mosaic Monday! Thank you Mary for hosting! Be sure to visit everyone at Mary's Little Red House.

Mosaic Monday!

Boy, I hope I did this right!

This is my first time participating in Mosaic Monday with Mary over at Little Red House!

I decided for my first mosaic that some snapshots around the house and outside would be just fine!
